When operations grow, standards need to keep up

There comes a point in the journey of every company that uses results-based management when the question changes.

At first, the question is: “How do I implement this?”

After a while, it becomes: “How do I keep this running as the team grows?”

That second question is harder. Scaling an operation without losing consistency requires control over details that may seem small, but when ignored, become sources of rework, inconsistency, and noise.

This week, Gestiona is receiving two updates focused exactly on that: giving administrators more control over the team’s experience inside the platform.

Avatar registration and management by the administrator

When a new employee joins the company and starts using Gestiona, profile setup is usually left to the user. In practice, that means each person does it their own way — or does not do it at all.

The result is a platform with incomplete profiles, outdated photos, or no photos at all.

For operations that value organization and professionalism, this matters.

Now, administrators can access any user’s profile and set or update their image directly. No need to rely on each person remembering to do it. No need to ask, follow up, or wait.

The team’s visual identity inside the platform becomes a management decision, not a matter of luck.

What changes in practice: a more standardized digital work environment, with less dependence on each user’s individual behavior.

Improved spacing for MEIconfiguration and export buttons

This is an experience improvement — and the best ones are exactly the kind you only notice when you no longer have to deal with the problem.

The configuration and export buttons in the MEI modal were too close together. The tight spacing increased the chance of clicking the wrong button, especially on smaller screens or during faster use.

Now, the spacing is more comfortable. The buttons are where they should be: visible, accessible, and with less risk of confusion.

What changes in practice: fewer misclicks, fewer workflow interruptions, and less day-to-day frustration.

What connects both updates

Neither of these updates changes your company’s strategy. But both do something equally important: they reduce the gap between the intention to have an organized operation and the reality of everyday work.

Governance is not just about processes. It is also about the environment where people work, and how that environment is configured to support growth without turning into chaos.
