Range Tolerance on Gestiona

When we use the Green Band with the forecast and percentage of tolerance, the system requests the filling of the Range Tolerance for both the year and the month. It is these references and the percentage of limit of colors that will influence the width of your Green Band.

When registering a KPI, in the KPI Type tab, after selecting type 2 (Forecast and % of Tolerance), it is necessary to configure the ranges of month and year.

In the Range Tolerance field we have 3 options:

Variable - Expected

In this option, the ranges referring to the values computed in the Predicted column in the measurements will always be considered. This is the most used option and by default it is the option that is selected when opting for a type 2 KPI.

When filling in the KPI Bands on import mask, in the field TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_MONTH and TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_YEAR fill in the number 0.

Exemple:
If you set the range to 10 and -10 in the green band, it means that the range will vary 10% of the value, both up and down. If in one month the predicted value is 100, it will vary 10 upwards and downwards, now, if in the next month the value is 120, it will vary 12 upwards and downwards (the same goes for the annual values

Variable - Minimum

In this option, you must provide a fixed value, in addition to the month and/or year ranges. If a predicted value computed in the measurements is less than the fixed value, the range will take the fixed value as a reference, if the computed value is greater than the fixed value, the reference will be the value computed in the measurements.

When filling in the KPI Band on import mask, in the field TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_MONTH and TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_YEAR

fill in the number 1.

Exemple:
If you set the range to 10 and -10 in the green band and the fixed value is 600, and in the month the forecast is 400 (less than the fixed one), the percentage of amplitude will be referring to 600, that is, it will vary 60 upwards and down. If in the next month the forecast is 1000 (greater than the fixed one), the percentage will use the realized one as a reference, varying 100 up and down.

Fixed

In this option, you must provide a fixed value, in addition to the month and/or year ranges. The ranges referring to the fixed value will always be considered, regardless of the value computed in the forecasts.

Ao preencher a máscara de KPI Band on import mask, in the field TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_MONTH and TP_REF_AMPLITUDE_YEAR fill in the number 2.

Exemple:
If you set the range to 10 and -10 in the green band and the fixed value is 600, and in the month the forecast is 400 (less than the fixed one), the percentage of amplitude will be referring to 600, that is, it will vary 60 upwards and down. If in the next month the forecast is 1000 (higher than the fixed), the percentage will continue to be referring to 600, varying 60 up and down.

Remembering that the settings of the year do not necessarily have to be the same as those of the month, even the ranges of the color limits may be different for the month and the year.
