Tolerance ranges are used to demonstrate, through colours, the stage at which the actual result is in comparison to the monthly target.
To access the Control Item Editing screen, simply click on the three-dot icon > Edit Item. Then access the Item Type tab.
To configure the colour limits, the option marked in the Green Range field should be “Inform Forecast and % Tolerance (2),” as shown below:
The values are percentages in relation to the target. For example, if the target is 120, a value of 10% is equivalent to 132, and a value of -5% is equivalent to 114. If we set the value of 10% between the green and blue range, it means that every time the actual result exceeds 132, the indicator light will turn blue instead of green. The same applies if we set -5% between green and yellow; any value below 114 will result in a yellow light.
Users must have the “Edit Monthly Tolerance Ranges” permission enabled in their profiles.
