The Green Range or Voice of the Process reflects the stability of your process based on your history – in practice, this means that the Green range represents what you are used to achieving, it is your normality.
The Goal or Voice of the Customer is your objective, what you want to achieve. In other words, it is your challenge.
IMPORTANT:
The Goal is compared with the Green Range to see if its stability is capable of achieving its objective. It is not compared to what was accomplished!
If your Goal is different from green, you must make an Action Plan so that you can achieve your goal. And if all your goals are green, you should make an Action Plan with the intention of improving one of your KPIs.
