The strategic map is a resource that acts as a catalyst and helps align objectives.
Creating a Strategic Map
You should click the “Register Map” button to open the new screen and register the corresponding information.
The system will open the Map Registration screen.
1. Map Name:
To define the name, it should be written in the field called “Strategic Map”.
2. Define the Period:
This is the date when this map will be effective.
3. Define Permissions:
To create or edit a permission for a user, you should click the “Add” button in the “Permissions” section.
The system will open the “Add Permission” screen, where you will have a field to select the desired User and the permission you wish to assign to them.
- Responsible: The owner of the Strategic Map and has full control over it.
- Viewer: Can only view, does not have editing rights.
- Editor: Has the power to edit the Strategic Map.
- Facilitator: Has the same powers as the Editor (they simply have different titles for better identification of roles within the council).
Then you must click the “Save” button to add them.
After completing this process, you will notice that the list shows the users and the permissions assigned to each of them.
4. Set as Active:
Defines whether the map will be visible in the Maps list. Just check the “Active” button.
After defining all the information related to the Map, you should click “Create Map” to finalise the creation of the map and save the information.
The map will then be displayed in the Main screen List.
