To assess potential difficulties in accessing the system, we need to gather information from users. This information can be obtained through the analysis of network traffic and the performance of the browser used by the user.

Browser Performance Analysis

We will investigate potential issues with system access by analysing the browser’s data. This information is crucial for our IT department to diagnose the problem accurately.

To do this, we will use the browser’s Developer Tools, or Developer Console. This tool provides detailed information about the website components that might be causing problems or experiencing slowness.

To proceed, simply follow these steps:

  1. Open/access a new tab or window with the system.
  2. Press F12 on your keyboard, and a side menu like this should appear:

  3. Click on the Network or Console tab as appropriate.
    The Network tab is used to detect slowness or excessive loading times in the system. The Console tab is used to view software execution errors (e.g., a button not working, information not saving, etc.).
  4. Re-execute the problematic action.
  5. Take a full-screen screenshot once the action is completed or an error appears, as shown in the image above.
  6. Send us the image.

 

Also consider performing the actions above in the following ways:

  1. In the same browser, but in an incognito or private window
  2. In a different browser from the one you are currently using
  3. On another computer, whether it’s your own or a colleague’s

These details will be very important for our IT team to analyse, diagnose, and resolve the issue.

Network Traffic Analysis

For situations such as communication failures with the system, network instability, or slowness, we recommend using the WinMTR software.

This software is an executable that will map the network points and traffic from your machine to the host where the system is located, and it will inform you if there is any information loss.

It can be found online on software download sites. Search for and download the software from a site of your choice.

To send us the analysis, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install the WinMTR software.
  2. Open the executable and enter: quattrus.com in the HOST field.
  3. Click START.
  4. After the software has run, take a full-screen screenshot.
  5. Send us the image.
