In day-to-day management, every detail matters. A misinterpreted piece of information, a poorly filled field, or an overly long description can hinder understanding and even cause errors when tracking indicators.
That’s why we’re constantly listening to our users and improving Gestiona to make the experience smoother, clearer, and more secure.
Our latest update helps organize your use of the platform even further, bringing more standardization and consistency to your measurements and data entries.
What’s Changed?
From now on, two key fields in the system will have a 2,000-character limit:
- The “Comment” field in measurements
- The “Description” field in Control Items
If this limit is exceeded, the system will prevent the content from being saved and will display an error notification:
The text box will be highlighted with a red border, and the “Save” button will disappear until the content is adjusted.
Why Is This Improvement Important?
While this character limit might seem like a technical detail, it brings significant benefits to all users in practice:
- Standardized Communication
Clear limits ensure a consistent format for field entries, making it easier for different teams and users to read and understand the information. - More Clarity in Data
Concise and direct descriptions reduce misunderstandings during data analysis and ensure that everyone quickly grasps what’s been recorded. - Consistency and Predictability
By limiting text length, the system helps prevent overly long, disorganized entries that go beyond what’s necessary for effective analysis.
This update is now live for all users, with no additional setup required.
One More Step Towards More Efficient Management
We know that every improvement contributes to a better, more complete user experience. Our team is committed to making Gestiona an increasingly powerful tool—while maintaining the simplicity and clarity you need.
