After creating the Strategic Map, we proceed to build the Objectives.
Users with the necessary permissions can create as many Objectives as needed.
Creating an Objective.
You must click on the three-dot button and then select the “Create Objective” option to open the new screen and enter the corresponding information.
The system will open the Objective Creation screen.
1. Objective Name:
To define the Objective name, you must enter it in the field called “Objective”.
2. Set Priority:
This refers to the order in which it will appear in the list of Objectives.
3. Set Objective Type:
In this area, you must define whether the Objective will be Primary or Secondary.
If you leave this field blank, this Objective will be configured as a Primary Objective. If you want to link it to a main objective, it will remain as a sub-objective of the main objective.
4. Set Permissions:
To create or edit a permission for a user, you must click the “Add” button in the section called “Permissions”.
The system will open the “Add Permission” screen, in this screen you will have a field to select the desired User and the permission you want to assign to them.
- Responsible: is the owner of the objective and has full powers over it.
- Viewer: can only view, has no editing power.
- Editor: has the power to edit the objective.
- Facilitator, Work Team and Contribution Team have the same power as the Editor (they only have different names for better identification of functions within the Dashboard) Then you must click the “Save” button to add it.
After performing this process, you will notice that the list shows the users and the permissions assigned to each one.
5. Set as Active:
Defines whether the Objective will be visible in the list of Objectives. Simply check the button called “Active”.
After defining all the information related to the Objective, you must click on “CREATE OBJECTIVE” to complete the creation of the Objective and save the information.
The Objective will then be displayed on the main screen to be moved throughout the available space.
